Kid Glove is an initiative by Kerala Police and ISRA (Information Security Research Association) a non-profit organisation to create cyber safety and security awareness among teachers, parents and children was started in the year 2015 as part of the annual c0c0n – Cyber Security and Data Privacy conference hosted by Kerala Police.
Considering the present scenario of pandemic Covid 19, the KIDGLOVE programme for the academic year 2020 – 2021 has been transformed to an e-classrooms so as to continue our efforts to protect children in cyber space without any disruption. Kerala police has joined hands with the Office of the eSafety Commissioner, Australian government to promote online safety education in the state of Kerala. We have incorporated a wide range of online safety programs and resources to empower our children and parents to stay safe from the danger lurking in the cyberspace. The new online portal has been customised and tailored to address the issues and problems faced by us in our state.
The new lerning portal have all the features for students to register and enroll for cyber courses online. On successful completion of courses students will be awarded with course certificates from kidglove
The new webportal have dedicated sections for teachers equiped with good quality cyber content and school tool kits for them to understand and teach how to tackle cyber issues that affecting the students
The parents section of the kidglove.in helps with a large resources of knowledge base to address the parenting issues on a cyber perspective
we invite all the schools from kerala to register with our website www.kidglove.in and make use of the high quality learning experience and awareness programmes for students and teachers.
The inauguration of the new platform will be carried out by Honourable Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri.Pinarayi Vijayan on 01 -06-2020
